The verification tool mkvalidator and the file cleaner mkclean has been updated (0.1.11 and 0.4.2 respectively).

They fix many major and minor bugs and potential bad output from mkclean. They also support some of the DivX extensions that have been published this week. They also build better on Linux now with a call to 'configure' and then 'make'.

The way the correct/incorrect Aspect Ratio is detected has also been tuned but better accuracy. The tools should now detect better when an aspect ratio is meant to be in pixels or a basic Display Aspect Ratio, and report/clean accordingly.
